论语中英双解——E01 学而时习之
课程导读
古人学习，除了要学会谋生的技能，尤其看重对于大智慧的领悟。学习，学的是一种关于人生存在意义的大知识。朱熹认为，还原人类最初存在的善念，才是学习的真正对象。同时，积极运用所学，将获得的道理运用于生活日常。在一次次的反复操练中，不断熟悉，内化于心，从而获得学习之乐。
英文原文
子曰：“学而时习之，不亦说乎〔1〕？有朋自远方来，不亦乐乎〔2〕？人不知而不愠，不亦君子乎〔3〕？”
● 注释：
〔1〕学之为言效也。
人性皆善，而觉有先后，后觉者必效先觉之所为，乃可以明善而复其初也。
习，鸟数飞也。
学之不已，如鸟数飞也。
说，悦，同。喜意也。
既学而又时时习之，则所学者熟，而中心喜说，其进自不能已矣。
程子曰：“习，重习也。时复思绎，浃洽于中，则说也。”
又曰：“学者，将以行之也。时习之，则所学者在我，故说。”
谢氏曰：“时习者，无时而不习。坐如尸，坐时习也。立如齐，立时习也。”
